“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” — Eleanor Roosevelt
There are results, and then there are results that a school community feels in its bones. This year, eleven students of Vandana International School, Sector 10, Dwarka, have earned places at four of India’s most respected institutions of technology — and in doing so, have given every junior in our corridors something to aim for.
Eleven students. Four prestigious institutions. One immensely proud school community.
To each of them, and to the families and teachers who walked the long road alongside them: congratulations.
Three Dreams. Three IITians.
The Indian Institutes of Technology remain among the most demanding admissions destinations in the world, reached only through the JEE Advanced examination and only by a very small fraction of those who attempt it. Three of our students have made it through.
- Aisha Gupta — IIT Kanpur
- Arnav Singh — IIT Roorkee
- Shresth Rai — IIT Mandi
They aimed high, worked relentlessly, and have earned their place among India’s brightest young minds.
Engineering Their Way to Excellence: Delhi Technological University
Delhi Technological University is one of the capital’s most sought-after engineering institutions, and admission to it is fiercely contested. Three of our students will begin their next chapter there:
- Anmol Kumar
- Charvi Sharma
- Kanishka Jain
A Brilliant Mind, A Prestigious Destination: NSUT
Manya Kumari has secured admission to Netaji Subhas University of Technology, another of Delhi’s premier technological institutions — a proud milestone on the journey towards an exceptional future.
Our students may recognise the name: NSUT was also the institution from which Dr. Akhilesh Dubey joined us earlier this year to lead our Hydroponics Learning Session. It is a quiet pleasure to see one of our own now heading to those same halls.
Four Future Innovators: Vellore Institute of Technology
Four of our achievers are bound for Vellore Institute of Technology, consistently ranked among India’s leading private technological universities:
- Aarush Jain
- Akshat Garg
- Naman Kumar Agrawal
- Shaurya Sandeep Salke
New campus. Bigger dreams. Limitless possibilities.
What This Achievement Really Represents
It is easy to read a list of names and institutions and see only the destination. Those who watched these students over the past two years saw something else entirely.
They saw early mornings and late revisions. They saw mock tests that went badly and were sat again. They saw the particular discipline required to prepare for a competitive examination while carrying a full Class XII board syllabus. They saw doubt, and they saw it overcome.
These results were not won in the final month. They were built over years of consistent, unglamorous effort — which is precisely why they are worth celebrating.
A Word for Our Younger Students
To every student in our senior wing watching these announcements go up on the noticeboard: the eleven names above sat in the same classrooms, used the same library, and asked the same nervous questions you are asking now.
What separated them was not a secret. It was consistency, honest self-assessment, the willingness to ask for help early, and a refusal to be discouraged by a bad test score. All of that is available to you.
Our Gratitude, and Our Commitment
At Vandana International School, we believe that outcomes like these are the product of a partnership. Our sincere appreciation goes to:
- Our teachers, whose subject expertise and extra hours made the difference in ways that rarely appear in any results announcement.
- Our Guidance and Counselling team, for helping students choose paths that genuinely fit them rather than paths that merely sound impressive.
- Our parents, for the steadiness, patience and quiet support that carried these young people through a demanding two years.
- Our achievers themselves, who did the actual work.
We remain committed to an environment where academic rigour is matched by career guidance, emotional support and a genuine understanding of each child’s aspirations — because the goal was never a list of admissions. The goal was eleven young people equipped to build something worthwhile with their lives.
To our achievers: you dreamed, you persevered, and you have made us proud. Go and do good work.
